Yesterday my friend Tony Read bought a pair of small metal shears at our local hardware store.
If any of you out there can translate the instructions printed on the back of the shears' package, I'll owe you a drink and a meal! You'll understand what I mean after you read the instructions, reproduced below:

1. In order to safeguard the security,please use and protect the glasses
2. Because of cutting off the reason that the thing wil fly out of, please confirm anyone by the body first,and there are articles apt to damage, and then carry on the home work.
3. Please don't beat with such things as the iron hammer, etc.
4. Be sure the make edge department whether close state and collection take in the infant while collecting.
5. Please don't use the most advanced bard of the edge department to sprain the things
6. Please don't touch the edge department with hands directly.
