Hootoksi and I are fortunate to have lived and worked in seven fascinating countries with diverse languages, religions and ethnicities. This has helped us develop a wide range of contacts among both locals and expats, many of who became lifetime friends. We are grateful that our sons are truly citizens of the world having absorbed this multitude of cultures and experiences while still in their childhood.

We have compiled a list of our friends, below. Many are lifelong friendships we have enjoyed since our school days with paople we met and grew to know and love over a 70 year period in half a dozen countries.

Sadly, inevitably, some friends have passed away; and others who grew close to us in the course of our postings and travels (way before the advent of smartphones) are fondly remembered by name and place alone, without the aid of photographs.
